VP, Innovation Solutions at Nielsen
Tommy Cheng serves as the vice president of innovation solutions for Nielsen Content providing customized research solutions for media and entertainment industry. He specializes in the designing of efficient research plans that leverage the right mix of methodologies to create cost effective solutions to help media companies understand how audiences make viewing decisions and the value of content and its resulting impact advertising or brand effectiveness. For over 10 years, Tommy has worked with clients from film, home entertainment, television (both broadcast and cable), video gaming and digital. This experience has helped him develop a needs-based framework for assessing how media content is consumed and assessing the right monetization opportunities across content type and media platforms. Graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 2000 with a BA in Marketing and Management Information Systems and received his MBA from the Merage School of Business at the University of California in Irvine in 2007.
