Scott Schiller is the Executive Vice-President of Digital Advertising Sales, for NBCUniversal Digital Entertainment. Schiller oversees digital advertising sales for the Company’s broadcast, cable and entertainment lifestyle brands, which include: NBC.com, Fandango, EOnline.com, DailyCandy, Bravotv.com, USA.com, Syfy.com, Oxygen.com, G4TV.com, AccessHollywood.com, Television Without Pity, and the partnership with Comcast’s Xfinity.com portal. Schiller was recently EVP, Digital Advertising Sales for NBCUniversal’s Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media (E&DN/IM).
Prior to joining Comcast/NBCU in 2009, Schiller was Executive Vice-President of Global Marketing and the original Chief Revenue Officer of Glam Media. He has more than 30 years of marketing, sales management, start-up and media experience, having held positions at iconic worldwide entertainment brands such as: AOL, Disney, MTV Networks, Prodigy and Sony.
He is a founder and four-time board member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), and was its first vice-chairman. Scott currently serves as the commission chair for the IAB’s Digital Media Sales Certification program.
Schiller earned his BA in Economics from Cornell University and leads the Career Connections Committee for its College of Arts and Sciences. He has an MBA in Marketing/Finance from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where created and led a class in Managing Interactive Media. Additionally, he is a member of the New Media Committee for Lincoln Center in New York.
A lifelong resident of New York City (that makes him a Yankee fan); he currently lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife, two teenage boys, and their dog, Ginger.
