VP, National Video Sales & Partnerships at Conversant

Ray currently oversees National video revenue, strategy, and partnerships at Conversant Media. He is responsible for evangelizing Conversant’s Video offering, curating go-to-market positioning, and collaborating with client partners. Ray is a seasoned sales professional with nearly 15 years in the advertising industry. For the last 5 years, he has sharpened his expertise with digital Video advertising distribution & measurement.

After starting his career at Horizon Media in NY, he transitioned to sales and relocated to LA, working at iHeart Media, where he remained for over 8 years. Following that tenure, Ray shifted to the digital arena, holding sales and leadership roles at Sizmek for 5 years, pioneering the company’s Video Subject Matter Expert division. He launched several product initiatives including HTLM5 VPAID executions, negotiated vendor partnerships, and re-positioned Sizmek’s video sales offering. He then landed at Conversant to lead the West Coast video efforts. After 15 years in Los Angeles, Ray recently relocated back east and is currently based is the company’s NY office.

Ray is an active attendee, speaker, participant of several ad industry organizations as well as a member of the IAB Digital Video Committee. When not nerding out on Video Advertising, Ray spends time with his wife, 2 boys, and 2 dogs in the suburbs of Connecticut.
