VP, Operations at VMA Media
The event that addresses the business and economic models that drive the creation, production, distribution and consumption of video content. That was where it all began when I joined as the first employee of VMA Media in early 2012. In the past five years, oh how we’ve grown, and by we I mean both VMA Media and the industry. With the explosion of consumption across device and marketers’ need to effectively reach consumers, we’ve pivoted to meet these needs through ADAPT, Mobilenomics, and Videonomics events. I have the pleasure to work client facing and behind the scenes as our VP, Operations. Jill of all trades, if you will.
As with most of my team, I have many years event experience beginning in 2005 at, you guessed it, iMedia. There, I ran Client Services for 7 years working closely with partners. Post DMG’s acquisition of iMedia, I also managed a white label event series, MLX, with a handful of Fortune 500 brands. That entrepreneurial experience lit the fire that ultimately drove me to building VMA Media and voilà, we’re here and in a big way!
I studied Criminology, Law and Society at the University of California, Irvine. I am privileged to sit on the executive board of Kids Konnected, a non-profit whose support helps children and teens that have a parent battling or who have lost the battle to cancer. I reside in San Francisco, CA; though, a little piece of my heart will always be in my hometown, Durango, CO.
