VP, Programmatic & Data-Driven Sales at ABC Television
Mike Dean is Vice President, Programmatic and Data-Driven Sales for ABC, and is focused on audience data activation, programmatic sales and inventory management, sales process automation, and the development of innovative solutions for ABC clients.
Mr. Dean joined ABC in June 2014 from Videology, where he was VP of Publisher Platform Sales and prior to that, was VP of Asia Pacific. From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Dean worked for Microsoft in business development and product management roles, and was co-inventor of a patented process to personalize web search results based on user data. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dean was a Java and .NET developer at Dell Computers and a Systems Analyst at Compaq Computers.
Mr. Dean served in the US Army as an airborne infantry soldier, stationed in Europe and deployed to Africa. Mr. Dean was awarded the Army Achievement Medal, the Distinguished Honor Graduate of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defense School, and the Expert Infantryman Badge.
Mr. Dean graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Information Systems from Texas A&M University, and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
