James Kreckler

SVP, Digital Entertainment Ad Sales at NBCUniversal

James Kreckler serves as Senior Vice President, Digital Entertainment Advertising Sales, NBCUniversal. In this post, Kreckler is responsible for driving advertising revenue for the company’s digital entertainment businesses and creating effective marketing solutions for partners across a diverse array of platforms, including web, mobile, video on demand, and social media. Kreckler reports to Scott Schiller, Executive Vice President of Digital Advertising Sales.

Kreckler joined NBCUniversal in January, 2012 as Vice President, Advertising Sales for iVillage, the largest content-driven community for women online. He has more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing management with interactive media and financial service companies.

From 2007-2012, Kreckler was Vice President of Digital Ad Sales at Rodale Inc. In this role, he oversaw strategic business development and overall management of advertising sales for Rodale’s digital brand, raising digital revenue from $10 million to $36 million over a three period.

From 2005-2007, Kreckler served as Vice President of East Coast Sales for Interpolls, Inc., where he launched the company’s media-rich digital platform and market expansion into New York and the east coast. Prior to this role, Kreckler was the Northeast Sales Director at AOL Interactive, and Strategic Account Director at Double Click.

Kreckler graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and English.
